Dr.P.MARIKKANNU is currently working as Assistant Professor, Department of IT. He was awarded the Gold medal for academic excellence towards his M.Tech. degree by College of Engineering,Guindy,Anna University, Chennai. He received his Ph.D. degree in the year 2012 from Anna University, Chennai. During his current tenure, he has established Multimedia tools Laboratory. He was instrumental in the installation of Linux server in the department. He has served as Director-Publications and Assistant COE-Directorate of Distance Education in erstwhile AUT,Coimbatore.He is a life member of ISTE
