The Department of Biotechnology, Anna University, Regional Centre, Coimbatore was started in the year 2011. The Department of Biotechnology works with the start up aim of developing high quality infrastructure with the required support services to enhance the knowledge of biotech student community and developing competent human resources at different levels in the field of biotechnology.
