1.	Dr. P.GANESHKUMAR, completed his PDF (Post Doctoral Fellow) in South Korea.
2.	Dr. P.GANESH KUMAR Received full travel grant and registration fee under YOUNG SCIENTIST category from Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) under Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India to present a research paper at 2013 IEEE Symposium Series on Computational Intelligence, SINGAPORE.

1.	Dr. P. MARIKKANNU, has successfully completed his Ph.D during the academic year 2011-2012.
2.	Dr. P. GANESHKUMAR has successfully completed his Ph.D during the academic year 2011-2012.
3.	Dr. S. V. MANISEKARAN has successfully completed his Ph.D during the academic year 2014-2015.
4.	Dr. J. MANNAR MANNAN has successfully completed his Ph.D during the academic year 2016-2017.
5.	Dr. P. GANESHKUMAR, has participated the IEEE sponsored international conference on “16th to 19th April 2013 “ held at Singapore and presented a paper on “Computer Intelligence”.
6.	During the academic year 2013-14, IT department has successfully organised the National Level Conference on Computational and Internetworking Information Technology (NCCIIT’13) during March 6th and 7th, 2014.
7.	A specialized laboratory for Multimedia Tools has been set for the benefits of PG students of Multimedia Technologies by Dr.P.MARIKKANNU, HOD and Dr.S.V.MANISEKARAN, Class Advisor, Multimedia Technologies
8.	Two National level symbosiam, Seven National Level Workshops and two National level Seminar has been conducted by IT Department.
9.	A multi-phase faculty training programme for IBM Mainframe Systems was conducted by industrial experts from IBM, Banglore during the academic year 2008-2009.
